Fall update 2018

Niagara on Fire!

When a client living with suicidal thoughts comes to Niagara Life Centre, we come alongside them immediately and work to offer hope. We desire to help our clients hold onto the truth that hope CAN change their next steps. Sharing this truth and showing hope is a communal responsibility. All of us are called to be a part of the solution for an epidemic that has hit our Niagara Region. Death due to suicide as the leading cause of death for 20-59 year olds in Niagara today is a staggering reality. The statistics are mind-boggling. We must help!

In an effort to serve the families dealing with suicide, Niagara Life Centre staff recently completed training in Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention. Equipping our staff means that individuals and families can receive the help they need when they find themselves overwhelmed by their life circumstance.

Because we know that suicide is preventable, help us by supporting Niagara Life Centre Counselling. We are a place where people can share and be heard; where God’s love flows; where clients feel accepted as they are and then equipped with coping skills that will enable them to go on with their lives victoriously.

Through Niagara Life Centre Counselling, God provides help, hope and ultimately healing. There are solutions other than death. Jesus is the solution that offers that peace that passes all understanding.

Niagara Life Centre staff and volunteers are so thankful for your support that allows this help to continue. So we encourage you to be a part of the change you would like to see in our region of Niagara by supporting NLC ministry work. Thanks again and again for your support.

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” Romans 12:12

God continue to bless you
