Our Banquet from a Counsellor’s Perspective.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
Hebrews 12:1

I love scenes in movies where the audience is privy to the chain of apparent insignificant events that lead up to a pivotal moment that alters the life and fate of the protagonist. In a similar fashion, the testimonials shared at the Annual NLC Banquet has afforded me a glimpse of this being played out in real time and in the real lives of our clients.

Although an individual stands alone to give a testimony of our God of glory, I am a witness to the reality that they are but a part in an eternal chain of many individuals that make up the huge crowd of witnesses that contributed to the moment. As I looked around the room during  the banquet, I am reminded that each of us present, are a part of a larger body that contribute to raise funds,  sponsor tables, and donate beautiful and unique items for the silent auction.

Aside from the banquet, men, women and children give of their time and talents  throughout the year to ensure that the  Niagara Life Centre can continue to come alongside people facing many diverse challenges. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer and support, allowing me to be a part of that awesome crowd.
