It’s Mental Health Awareness Month!
Mental health is all around us, but we often gloss over its importance. It’s easy to throw the term “mental health” around in conversation, advertising, or social media posts, but the reality is our mental health is a lot more integrated into our lives than we might realize.
Mental health is our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It is how we process, how we think, act, and react to the world around us. It is directly linked to how we handle stress in life, how we relate to others, and how we make decisions.
Our mental health is important. We experience mental health on a daily basis, yet we often ignore it unless something goes seriously wrong. That shouldn’t be our default! God wants us to live life abundantly and that includes a healthy mindset!
Let’s recognize that mental health IS important and help spread awareness!
