One Night. One Star. One Hope.

One event changed the world forever. It brought life in place of death, peace with God instead of enmity, and hope instead of fear. Jesus was the One who came and made it possible for us to experience life abundantly. We at the Niagara Life Centre celebrate what His coming means and how we can bring help, hope and healing to our clients.

We could not do the work that God has called us to without the faithful and prayerful support of each one of you. Your continued investment in prayer, time and resources make it possible for our amazing therapists and counsellors to pour into the lives of those who are hurting, bringing healing and wholeness in Christ.

We would like to thank our dedicated Board of Directors, staff and volunteers who give so much of their time, talent and energy to NLC as they work together to love those who feel unlovable, and bring healing to those who are hurting.

We also wish to thank Rita Makubuya, our outgoing Executive Director, for her dedication, hard work and loving heart for the work that this ministry does. We know that God has great plans for her in the coming years and her bright smile, contagious laugh and loving heart will be missed.

Here is a small glimpse into some of the lives that have been impacted by NLC this year:

Abuse (11) , Addiction (5), Anger (10), Anxiety (87), Depression (36), Eating Disorder (2), Grief (26), Marriage/Couples (41), Other (4), Parenting (1), Relationship (78), Self-esteem (4), Trauma (42), Pregnancy/Post Abortion (1), Group Programs (71).

We know that all it takes is one person to listen, love and value someone for them to begin to take the journey towards healing. Some have completed that journey this past year, some are still on it, and many are waiting for an opportunity to begin theirs.

We are thankful for what God has done in 2024 and look forward to what He is going to do with and through NLC in 2025. Your year end giving is crucial sup port that continues the work through the winter months when mental illness is at its highest. As we look forward to celebrating our 40th Anniversary next year, please consider continuing to support what we do so that one by one, lives can be impacted, and we can continue to bring help, hope and healing. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Sue Sokol,
