Myung Joo Ok

Myung Joo has dedicated over 25 years to serving non-profit and para-church organizations through teaching, mentoring, and counselling. Holding a Master of Divinity in Counselling, she is well-equipped to offer compassionate care in all her endeavors. Myung Joo has provided counselling for individuals, couples, and families in various settings, including acute care, mental health, and rehabilitation. She is a Level I and Level II Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I and CCFTP-II) with PESI, focusing on the neurobiological aspects of trauma and complex trauma treatment. Her expertise extends to helping clients navigate anxiety, prolonged sadness, grief, loss, and relational challenges. Additionally, she has completed courses such as “Food as Medicine: Certification for Mental Health Professionals” and “Applying the IFS Model in Couple’s Therapy.” Passionate about fostering a culture of discipleship and care, Myung Joo is committed to nurturing the body of Christ.
