At Niagara Life Centre, we offer youth counselling for youth age 14-17 who are navigating personal challenges and emotional pain. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of where to turn, our compassionate counsellors are here to walk alongside you.

Who Is It For?

NLC offers Youth counselling for young people age 14-17 who may be:

  • Experiencing anxiety
  • Struggling with depression
  • Having difficulty managing stress
  • Struggling with self-esteem or body image
  • Coping with grief
  • Experiencing cyber abuse or bullying
  • Coping with childhood trauma (considered on a case-by-case basis)

Terms and Conditions:

Please review the following information before registering for youth counselling services:

  • Parents/Guardians are not allowed to sign up their child for services without their express consent.
  • NLC understands that the family unit looks different for everyone. Where a Child Custody Order is in place, NLC will require a copy of it prior to services being offered. Please note, at this time we are unable to support youth who are in the midst of a parental separation. If this is your situation and you need support, please reach out to our main office (905 934 0021 or admin@niagaralifecentre.ca) for referrals to alternate youth counselling services
  • The NLC counsellor will schedule a Parent/Guardian consultation session to discuss the parameters around their child’s care and appropriate boundaries.
  • Parents/Guardians will be required to sign a form at the Parent/Guardian consultation session, ensuring the youth’s privacy and confidentiality will remain intact during the duration of their care at NLC.
