Myung Joo Ok

Christian Counsellor, BA., MDiv.

Myung Joo has served with non-profit and para-church organizations, teaching, mentoring and counselling for more than 25 years. She has a Master of Divinity in Counselling which equips her to serve with compassion in all aspects of her work. Myung Joo has provided counselling for individuals, couples and families within a variety of acute care, mental health and rehabilitation settings. She is a Level I and Level II Certified Christian Trauma care provider, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training Level I (CCTP-I) : Working with the Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma  and Level II (CCFTP-II): Treatment of Complex Trauma with PESI ( Professional Education Systems, Inc.,) and has addressed clients in working through anxiousness, prolonged sadness, grief, loss, sense of meaning and purpose, as well as relational challenges and distress within the marriage and family. Myung Joo is passionate about building a culture of discipleship and care within the body of Christ.
