South Niagara Life Centre, in 2009, served a monthly average of 100 to 125 families from within the Niagara region; initially coming to see us in some form of crisis.
As we press on toward sustainable funding, it goes without saying that we can continue to serve as long as we receive sustainable help.
SNLC has several means in place to annually sustain its modest budget, pending others participate. We were never intended to stand, alone. Public support is crucial, as subsidy help from NLC is no longer available.
Careholders are KEY to make the difference (As businesses have Shareholders, our non-profit needs Careholders): Every effort and every gift adds to the whole in aiding SNLC to 1) strengthen current services, 2) securing greater resources to reach and impact lives in distress, and 3) especially serving those in distress close by to where services are needed.
Hypothetically, if 100 individuals, groups, churches, or businesses were to give even $30.00 a month, that would generate $3,000.00 in revenue each month for SNLC– or $36,000.00 for the year. If the same 100 gave $60.00 a month that would generate $6,000.00 a month – or $72,000.00 for the same year; and if the same 100 gave $90.00 a month, that would generate 9,000.00 or $108,000.00 for the year – etc. – and as the numbers grew, you can imagine our annual needs would be amply met, to meet the escalating requests for help (SNLC is averaging 130-160 a month in 2010).
With an eye to the future, you can see the potential of South Niagara Life Centre becoming more secure, on a more surer and sustainable footing, aside from the constant fundraising our small staff have had to do, to date, on top of the time needed in serving the public.
With 60,000 some thousand in southern Niagara, it seems possible to locate those with like minded passion to serve, and come alongside as a supporter and/or volunteer. Please call if you so feel led to consider the options below to become a partner with us, or with any other thoughts to share.

Participate annually in any of our fun Funding Venues (please regularly check our program and events page). All efforts help, and if you are not sure about our clients and services, who you could be supporting, please come in for any of our SNLC ‘Key to Life’ tours, as our guest(s) – the tour schedule is located on our web site ‘program and events’ page.
