Come See What’s Growing on April 18, 2020

Come See What’s Growing on April 18, 2020

On April 18th, multiple greenhouses will open their doors to the community. They will each be showcasing their beautiful, locally grown cut flowers, potted plants, vegetables and culinary herbs.

Here in the Niagara Region, we belong to a diverse and caring community. As greenhouse growers who are a part of this incredible community, we are passionate about the variety of our locally grown flowers, plants, vegetables and culinary herbs; we enjoy sharing how things grow and impact our Niagara Region and beyond.

In this rare opportunity, multiple Niagara greenhouses will open their doors for the public to come and learn about the greenhouse culture, its environmentally safe practices and its intention to share hope and contentedness through the gift of flowers, veggies and culinary herbs.

9AM to 3PM

Niagara Life Centre will receive the donation in the form of entrance fees from the greenhouse open house tour.  As we celebrate the season of spring, we can positively influence and share the beauty and potential of our Niagara region—both through the experience of growing and giving plants and through supporting the needs of our neighbours.

Bracelets will be sold at the door of each participating greenhouse for $10.00. The bracelet will give one access to all the participating greenhouses (1 bracelet = admission to all greenhouse). All proceeds from the bracelet sales will go towards NLC “Mental health matters”.

Lady Bird Johnson famously shared, “Where flowers bloom so does hope.”
